Part I

What purpose do religious institutions serve?

Our world has wonderfully diverse ethnic, cultural, geographic, and economic divisions which also challenge man's abilities to uphold justice, equality, human rights and dignity for all.  Man uses his religion to respond to justice and equality for himself and others.  But religion is also a breeding ground for much of the injustice and conflicts within itself.  Religion is rife with tyrannical leaders who exploit the poor and simple of society, religious leaders plant deep seated hatred and prejudices into their flocks and pit cultures and people against one other for their own self interest and profit. 

Many people believe in the religion of science and intelligence and believe that mankind evolved from monkeys and therefore he has no purpose on earth outside of his continued existence on the planet.  Man's institutions serve the instant gratification of man's immediate needs... here's the latest breakdown:

Religion offers mankind a way to define himself, his God, his surroundings, and everything else.  Religion supplies answers, but it only asks its own questions... so it can supply its own answers.  Religion is man's own reflection of himself.  Religion is the "Nature of Things", man sees his nature by how he is lead by his own human spirit. 

In Canada a television program called "the Nature of Things" mirrors the personal ideas of it's founder who is a  materialist (Evolutionist) who shares what he feels is "intelligence."  Everything in the Nature of Things is "scientific" however it is the propaganda of evolution and man as the measure of all things, that is the "Nature of Things".  In other words whether it is Judaism, Christianity, Islam or Evolutionism each adherent has a world view and personal systematic ideology that we can refer to as a "religion" a set of beliefs and practices.

In this case the "Nature of Things" serves to illustrate to others how one myopic "scientific" world view supplies the answers to all the big questions... only of course the questions that "science" dares to broach.  The same can be said for other religions like "Judaism".  The name "Jew-daism" gives it way really, this is a religion about, for and invented by Jews.  Judaism has evolved to becoming more about an identity of being "Jewish" than a Faith about following Yahweh.  The rabbis will even tell you that they are the ones who tell YHWH how to run the universe.  These are men of "logic and reason" many are endowed with brilliant minds, memories, and great sense of humour.

Christianity of course supports 33,800 different denominations, so what Christianity is telling the world is that there are 33,799 other interpretations of Christianity that aren't true blue, only that one Church on the corner that you go to is the true one.  So Christianity then is a religion about Jesus, rather than a Faith in following One King, who has One Torah and One Kingdom.  Well of course some have their own "father" (pope), even though the teachings of Y'shua strictly forbid anyone from doing so.  "And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven."  Matthew 23:9  All through Catholic literature it is very clear that anyone who goes out on their own and actually obeys the Word of YHWH is crazy, a lunatic, insane... and that the Bible was not meant to be taken literally.

In place of being obedient to the Bible the Catholic hierarchy has advised it's adherents that it has sanctified pagan things like Mithras (Christmas) and Ishtar (Easter) and Sun Worship (Sunday) and it has the largest penis of all religions (the obelisk in St. Peter's Bascilia was donated by the pagan emperor Caligula) to clearly mark it's boundaries as "the Church" of all churches.  Catholics are told that they are the Mother Church (not the mother harlot) of all other daughter churches, and most Catholics believe that because they don't get out that often to see how history truly evolved and how their Church actually strung up the original follower of Y'shua with wires around their necks and burnt them at the stake... oh well.

All religion markets itself as having all the answers, according to all it's own questions.  But once we ask questions based on the Kingdom of Heaven, not generally asked within each religion, then religion rejects us.

Religion controls all thoughts about G-d, Justice, Equality, the environment and all spiritual and human needs according to it's leadership and intellectual property.  Religion provides a closed circuit.  Religion has no "spiritual capabilities" of it's own, it borrows "spiritual" connection from one of two sources, either Mashiyach or anti-Mashiyach.  The pride of man will never allow him concede to being misinformed or deceived, pride itself is anti-Mashiyach.  The pride of man is the basis of all man's religions.

So why then are people so adamant to be part of a religion, instead being adamant to belonging to YHWH and each other?

Why is religion more important than the common good, equality and justice?

Why is religion given credit for the common good if it is often the barrier to bringing equality and the common good?

Why do people need to be part of a religion to have a relationship with G-d or to respect their own environment?

Why do most feel they must join a religion to get to know about YHWH and learn to do His will?

How did man learn about YHWH before religion existed?

Where did religion come from?

What did people do before religion existed?

How did man learn about YHWH before religion existed?

How does YHWH teach mankind about Himself?

How do we help ourselves and others extricate ourselves from religion?

Part II

How are we to respond to man's religion and his institutions?

     Here are some words by one person who chose to do battle against religion:

Apostle Paul has long been credited for launching Christianity, the worlds largest and richest and most corrupt religion on the planet, but it is obvious that Paul neither started Christianity nor would he endorse it today.  Paul would not even recognize Christianity as it is known today and yet most Christians use Paul and his writings to validate their religion.  Christianity has evolved over the last 2,000 years to become unrecognizable by First Century standards.

The Faith of Y'shua was originally referred to as the Way, Y'shua being the Way, the Truth and the Life.  The Way of Y'shua had no idols, no figurines of men, no images of angels propped up in their churches, in fact there were no churches in Paul's day, the first church wasn't even built until a hundred years after the resurrection, and it was built by a money lusting heretic named Marcion.  The One True Faith has no regard for religion.  There was no pagan celebrations as Christmas or Easter, no Lent, no denominations, no political, economic, ethnic or cultural divisions, these were added by man's ideas about God, according to his imaginations about religion.

When HaMashiyach returns, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, or Judaism, and all religions will cease to be, He will not accomplish some great syncretism and pat them all on the back, because each one is in fierce opposition to Universal Justice and Equality. 

There will be no more oppression on earth between religious factions.  Religion is at war with Mashiyach, religion is the Nature of Things... man's Nature of Things as he sees it.  Those with the best of intentions and ambitions will either learn what the Prophet Jeremiah referred to as the "Ancient Path"  or they will perish by having made religion their idol which they put before the value of their own life and destiny, preferring pride and prejudice over humility and acceptance of their own freedom.

The Ancient Path is:

"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.  For her sins have reached unto heaven, and Elohim has remembered her iniquities.  Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she has filled fill to her double.  How much she has glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she says in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.  Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is Yahweh Elohim who judges her.  And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, 

Revelation 18:4-9

The kings of the earth, oligarchs and power brokers have all benefitted themselves at the expense of YHWH's Kingdom.  In many cases kings have used religion to make war, to destabilize, to control people according to their own weakness in elevating their leaders above YHWH and His Mashiyach.  There is no one who hates religion more than Mashiyach and he promises to crater it when he returns.  Therefore our response to religion is simply to come out of her my people.  And when we say this we don't mean to change our socks and go from one church to another, or from one religious ideology to another, no, we're talking forsake her completely!

"Therefore YHWH will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day. The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teaches lies, he is the tail.  For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.  Therefore YHWH shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaks folly.  For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.  For wickedness burns as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.  Through the wrath of YHWH of Hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother.  And he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm:  Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh: and they together shall be against Judah.  For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still."  Isaiah 9:16-21
