"Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul:

be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of YHWH's vengeance;

He will render unto her a recompense." 

Jeremiah 52:6

     Right now as you read this, there are eight Russian nuclear powered submarines parked off the East and West coasts of the United States of America.  Each Russian sub carries 20-24 ICBM's (Inter Continental Ballistic Missiles) each ICBM carries 10 warheads programmed to reach distinct targets, so at least 1600 nuclear weapons are poised against Russia's most formidable enemy.  The US of course has a massive cache of nuclear warheads and defense systems in place to ensure it's "security" so does Britain, China, France, India, Pakistan, Israel, Iran, South Africa, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.  High-tech nations like Germany, Japan, Korea, North Korea etc also have their own caches of warheads and many private groups also have been building up caches of weapons, both nuclear and non-nuclear (no one said too much about the 360 metric tons of high tech explosives that "disappeared" from Iraq).  The internet is now home to detailed drawings and plans that teach people how to build nuclear warheads, if you didn't know before, now you can learn to make your own (I didn't think it necessary to provide a link).

     Janes Intelligence Digest and other Military Intelligence sources suggest there are dozens of briefcase size nuclear warheads being carried about the planet.  It's impossible that any one "intelligence organization" on earth knows where each and every one of them are, or what the are their current targets.  How would it make you feel if you discovered a nuclear warhead was planted in your city?  What about those chemical weapons that could be sprayed all over your community?  How did humanity get itself into such a pathetic state?

     Babylon is all about fear and intimidation, it's about repression and poverty not freedom and wealth, its all about death and oppression not abundant life.  It's easy to think of Babylon as a world wide "cult religion", she has permeated almost every part of the modern world, everything from Churches, Synagogues, Mosques, businesses, families, relationships, social clubs and the boy scouts have had opportunity to experience life with what the Scriptures call "the great whore".  Babylon is a way of thinking and a way of being, it's purest form is high grade rebellion against YHWH, the Torah and His Mashiyach. 

The Fear of Man Epitomizes Babylon

     Nimrod was the founder of Babylon, he was the founder of man made religion, he was a "mighty hunter" who put the fear of man into his "disciples".  Nimrod invented the fear of man, he also invented the modern hierarchy of religion and business that elevates men into godlike positions above others.  There is plenty of historical and Scriptural evidence to verify the realities of Babylon, even a fool would deny the historical existence of the Babylonian "Civilization", but it takes a bit more understanding to recognize that modern government, religion and corporate enterprise are also modeled after Babylon.  The values of Babylon permeate the modern world, she is behind the world's operating system.  In every Civilization a majority of the ruling class takes delight in oppressing their poor, it is they who are held most responsible for instilling fear and maintaining injustice in the world. 

     Throughout history "superpower nations" have been enemy centered, heavy handed and discriminating against weaker nations, they project peaceful ambitions by pretence but are lacking in trustworthiness and loyalties to Justice, they are abundant in pride, deceit and arrogance are their noteworthy accomplishments.  Nimrod built himself a tower to heaven so he could prove to the world there was no god except himself, he saw himself as god and wanted to receive worship from other men.  There would have been no tyrannical Nimrod, no "superpower" oppressive nations except that mankind choose the fear of man, rather than the Fear of YHWH.

     The system of Babylon finds herself in all nations but the big fish like the US, Britain, and Russia epitomize Babylon.  The US is a mighty Christian nation that imposes it's "virtues" upon others through fear, intimidation, threats, embargos, puppet dictators etc.  What does America have within itself that is of such great value that it must vigorously protect itself from it's enemies?  Is it Democracy or Freedom? that America must protect?  Does freedom on American soil need intercontinental ballistic nuclear weapons to protect itself?  Most will say, yes absolutely.  But everyone knows that Peace and Freedom is established by Justice, not Military might.  If America were a "JUST" or fair Nation, it would need very little protection, as it would have very few enemies.  Americans own twice as many handguns as any other people on earth, because they need protection within their own country?  America is one of the most dangerous crime filled nations on earth, and if that's not enough.  Americans export over $12 billion in handguns each year, nearly twice the amount that Russia exports.  Americans say they need "deterrents", the American government now permits citizens to own military style automatic weapons, the kinds used in the killing fields.  Life is becoming cheaper and cheaper in America, because the "American Dream" fashioned itself after the order of Babylon.

     What makes Britain such coveted a nation that she must protect herself with weaponry and might?  Are Britain's real estate holdings coveted by her enemies?  Britain has a long history of looting and oppressing weaker nations over land and sea, her great Navy was used to colonize and loot the weaker nations, and so did the Dutch, the French, the Spanish, the Portuguese etc.

     Why must Russians roam the seas with their massive nuclear submarines packed full of nuclear missiles?  Russia exports $7 billion of guns each year and has amassed the largest cache of hi-tech bombs on the planet to protect herself?  The Russians have become experts at intimidating others with submarines, briefcase bombs and hi-tech weaponry, but their population declines under rank alcoholism, poverty and corruption.   Idealists like Marx, Lenin and Stalin have only added to the proof what "personality cults", autocrats, dictators, mafioso like the first Nimrod thousands of years ago, add to cruelty and lack of justice, there is nothing new under the sun.

     China is now stockpiling nuclear ICBM's, and is making its own nuclear subs as "deterrents".  What does China have that they must so vigorously protect?  Maybe China is aiming to become the No. 1 superpower, and by the looks of it, it's not going to take China too long.  With the worlds largest weapons systems manufacturing efforts now underway it will be impossible for America or any other nation to catch China's arms build up, but not only does China have the technology to build them, they have the people to use them.  When China and Russia start pushing their weight around, everyone already knows that the Americans will have to learn to be lot more humble, and if you don't think that's possible, just look back at the history over every other "superpower".

     Carnal men throughout the earth strive to take care of No.1, each wants things for themselves, even if it be at the expense and sorrow of others.  The richer that a minority of men become, the greater the prevailing poverty in the world, man has chosen Babylon over YHWH.  To have military might, is one of Babylon's most coveted "powers", Nimrod made a name for himself as a great hunter, but modern Babylon covets military power where a handful of people can threaten an entire nation.

     There are approximately 400 billionaires in America, 100 in Russia, 35 in Germany, 33 in Mexico, 30 in Britain, 19 in France, 18 in Canada, in New York alone there are 30 billionaires, 10 billionaires live in Moscow.  According to China News Service in 2003 there were 1,000 Chinese billionaires and 3,000,000 millionaires living in China (1M Chinese = +/- $120,000 US).

     Many individual billionaires have more disposable cash than entire countries, but billionaires aren't known for righteousness or for generosity to the poor, or tithing to uphold justice.  The tithe of Scripture is designed to evenly distribute wealth and advance the Kingdom of Elohim as directed by YHWH, which would mean Justice and Fairness for all.  The modern economic pie shows us that the rich are getting richer, and the gap between the wealthy and the poor widens each year, and in every country the structure of Babylon is evidenced.  Wealthy nations have found new ways to bring sickness and disease upon impoverished people and make massive drug profits from their sufferings by offering high priced disaster relief and taxing their own people to pay the bills.  The Scripture says these "put far away the evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near;  that lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches."  Amos 6:3

In every generation when man plays god,

Babylon is resurrected.

     It's impossible to have more than one G-d on earth, or in heaven without having a war going on.  One of the best examples of the worst type of leadership is story of Abimelech in the book of Judges.  Shortly after Gideon had died, Abimelech began fighting and clawing his way "up the political ladder", he got financing from Baal worshippers and used the funds to hire "light and vain," unscrupulous men to be his backers, then he slew the rightful heirs to the throne so he would have "free reign."  Abimelech was the king, in his own mind, and sat as king for three years until a woman in a higher place than him, dropped a piece of millstone on his head and mortally wounded him.  The account of Abimelech is very rich with gematria and remez (hints).  Abimelech's father was Gideon, who was a righteous man who had 70 sons of his own.  The number seventy corresponds with the office of Judges of Israel.  Everyone knows there are only two kinds of judges, either they are righteous or they are evil.  The righteous judges of Israel were they who inquired of YHWH for universal judgment according to the common good and equality of all men, but wicked judges are covetous and selfish.  Gideon was righteous man,

Then the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule over us, both you, and your son, and your son's son also:

for you have delivered us from the hand of Midian. And Gideon said unto them,

I will not rule over you, neither shall my son rule over you:

YHWH shall rule over you.

Judges 8:22-23

     All leaders are raised up and brought down according to YHWH's will.  The people want leaders, so YHWH gives them leaders that represent their own values, which is often tyrannical, materialistic and unrighteous.  But the people want men to lead them, rather than YHWH, this has been a consistent trait of humanity from the time of Nimrod.  What makes the matter so much more complicated now is that there is a world full of men who are after bigger and bigger slices of the pie, and their is only so much pie for everyone.  As a result there are manifold simultaneous economic wars going on between billionaires, nations, religions, business, ideologies etc, the heavy hitters like America, Europe, Russia, China, and Israel are greedy for the biggest piece of the pie, anxious to increase their power.  When the basis of any people or institution is self aggrandizement, the fruits of Babylon prevail.  If any institution of man does not welcome and provide Justice and Equality for all souls regardless of race, age, colour, or economic wherewithal, they are nurturing hierarchical Babylon.  Wealth and power are carnal addictions that plague people of all nations, every country has its own set of greedy power mongers who rule by their self interests.  The rich and famous are the gods of Babylon and the cycle of poverty and injustice continues for the majority of earthlings.

     Some Americans see their country as both spiritual and literal Babylon reborn, but maybe this is just pride.  Thieves tend to be the most dangerous to each other, just after they've robbed the bank, after the wealthy nations of the earth have robbed the poor, they will attempt rob each other, they can't help themselves it's in their moral genes.  Certainly hell will visit the whore of Babylon and her daughters, so it's not important to suggest that America is the head of Babylon, but it's probably just as good or better than the other possibilities.

Babylon is confusion,

all who defy YHWH are drinking of the wine of Babylon.

     Babylon (Bavel) means confusion which is inevitable when man turns his back on YHWH.  Mashiyach offers the only antidote against confusion that has brought against mankind by the enemy, there are no other lasting solutions.  Mashiyach never made or endorsed a religion, or a political system, or nationalistic agenda for the purpose of discrimination against others.  Mashiyach came "in His Father's Name" to do His "Father's Will".  Mashiyach points his disciples to "The Father", He said that He came from His Father and our Father.  Mashiyach is the opposite of Babylon.  Babylon has tried to remake Mashiyach into its own god called "Jesus Christ".  Jesus is a fabrication of the image of Babylon whom theologians have fashioned from an image of the Greek god Zeus.  Yeshua HaMashiyach did not take the sole authority and responsibility upon Himself for Peace and Justice, He revealed "The Father" YHWH and He directed our attention to "The Father", not to Himself.  Many religious leaders draw attention to themselves to gain or maintain power, fame and fortune, some say they need all the notoriety to do the work of "Jesus", but it seems all too obvious they are simply enamored with Babylon's remake of the Grecianized Jezeus.

     Through Mashiyach we enter into the Government and Kingdom of Elohim, there is no other antidote to Babylon other than following Torah according to Mashiyach who is the Word of YHWH made flesh.  It doesn't take a lot of brain power to realize that the One who Created Life is the One who supplies the best operators manual for life and for the earth He Created.  Everytime mankind has tried to manage the planet without consulting YHWH's instructions, the people revert back to Babylon.  Many people fear things like death, poverty, sickness, loneliness, depression etc because of worrying about the needs of the flesh.  Mysticism and religion both offer temporary emotional patches, these are like "synthetic spiritual antibiotics" that grow into "spiritual superbugs" which mutate into deadlier and deadlier strains of suicidal reprobation.  The man who perpetuates the things of Mashiyach will continue into eternity, but all of man's inventions, including his religion, has a limited use time frame.

     One of Babylon's clever inventions is the fallacy of reincarnation, but again this is man's way to make a god out of himself.  Another fallacy of Babylon is that a soul can become the parent of god, in other words people can create god, but you generally have to sell your soul to a guru or directly to the devil to really believe this, for some it's a small price to pay.  We must purposefully choose to purge false values from ourselves and our communities, but the most difficult challenge we face is the removal of false leadership, but we must face our fears, and the threats and intimidation brought on us by others who would propagate Babylon rather than support the Kingdom of Elohim.  The "ruling class" have always been the most effective oppressors.  Individuals must take back their sovereignty that it is meant for YHWH alone, man's answer to leadership is found in Gurus, Pastors and Rabbis or just about anyone who they think knows more about life and how to live than they do themselves.

But the anointing which you have received of him abides in you,

and you need not that any man teach you : but as the same anointing teaches you of all things,

and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, you shall abide in him.

1 John 2:27

     We must focus on establishing Truth and Righteousness, only the arrogance of the "gods" is intimidated by the Truth.  The only way mankind can take back the ground that was given to false leaders, is by entering into the Kingdom of Elohim.  First we surrender our authority over others and become servants of YHWH, before we can proceed to do the things of Mashiyach.  The "revolution" Yeshua brought to earth was never against man, but against the enemy who plants false ideas about the Kingdom of Elohim in the hearts and minds of man.  We must take the responsibility upon ourselves to choose YHWH and His Mashiyach over the institutions of man, and free ourselves from the oppression of Babylon.  Each one can make a difference in this world because Truth is the ultimate power, and besides, Babylon's days are numbered.

Babylon is described as a woman, a whore who leads the nations astray

 

THE BODY 

She rules over the kings of the earth.
Her merchants are the worlds great men. 
She sits on many waters. 
Seafaring ships deliver cargo to and from her. 
The wealthiest of nations. 
The youngest of nations. 
Came from the Ten. 
Arrogant.

Physical landmass with borders. 
Her attack comes out of the north. 
She will be split into three parts, the waves will wash over her, she will become a desert. 
No worker will be found in her again. 
No bride or bridegroom will be found in her. 
Musicians will no longer be found in her. 
No craftsman of any trade will be found in her. 
The Ten will eat her flesh and burn her with fire (nuclear holocaust). 
Only desert owls and hyenas will be found in her. 
She was a gold cup in YHWH's hand (materially blessed). 
She corrupts Israel.
She is comprised of a melting pot of immigrants. 
The merchants of the earth grew rich because of her consumption. 
The merchants mourn because no one buys their merchandise anymore. 
All who had ships on the sea grew rich because of her wealth. 
The light of a lamp will no longer shine in you. 

The Medes and Persians and as many as will come with them attack her. (Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, France, Germany, etc..)

The Ten hate the whore and bring her to ruin.

The Ten come out of the Grecian Empire (EU). Russia and her allies, France and Germany and their allies are the conspirators. 

This very attribute eliminates Europe or the cities of the world as contenders for the title of Babylon. 

The descriptions above eliminate every entity except a nation that has great wealth and holds sway over the kings of the earth. 

The description eliminates Rome as she is part of the Ten. 

The description eliminates the Catholic Church, although she is a major player in the spirit of Babylon. 

The U.S. currently occupies ancient Babylon, so by default, is physical Babylon in every conceivable way. 

She is home for the U.N. 

Her currency and language are the world’s standard. 

She exports more filth and idolatry than any other nation (pornography, music, film, attitude, sodomy, divorce, etc….) she has become a home for demons. 

She has hamstrung Israel and is forcing her to give up the land that YHWH promised her. 

This entire picture is so clear that it is confounding that few see it for what it is. There is no argument that can be developed to satisfy a contradictory conclusion when referring to the physical entity described in Revelation 18 and Jeremiah 50 & 51. The U.S. is clearly the Babylon described in theses chapters. 

 

THE SOUL 

The mind, will and emotion of the whore are the attributes of mercantilism. The earliest empire using this system of bondage and worship of mammon was ancient Babylon.  YHWH despises the traders of gold and silver, who charge usury and enslave men to the bondage of debt, creating a worship of money as opposed to the worship of YHWH.

This system of bondage goes by the names of democracy, free market, capitalism, etc.. yet there is nothing free about them. This system was perfected under the tutelage of physical Babylon and exported throughout the planet. Today, the world’s economies are dependant upon this system. 

When physical Babylon is destroyed, the world will reel, because all the economies of the world are based on the U.S. Dollar. 

The seven heads of Revelation are seven empires, five were, one was and one has come, the empire of America, but when it comes, it will only be for a short time, then an eighth empire will come that will devour the whole earth.

Yet this fatal wound will be healed with the institution of a European economy based on the Euro. This system will require the mark of the beast. People will worship this beast and it’s image. They are able once again to buy and sell. Gluttony, idolatry, the worship of mammon! 

In the new heaven and new earth there will no longer be a Canaanite (merchant, banker, buyer of silver and gold) in the land. These are abominations. 

This dimension of Babylon will be overthrown at the coming of Y'shua. 

 

THE SPIRIT 

The spirit of Babylon is obvious in character. She despises everything that would bring her into submission to YHWH. The corruption of his Word, the following of the traditions of men as opposed to His commands, the removal of His Name from the Scriptures, the worship of personality, men and pagan deity, etc… 

Entities that comprise range from the false church of lawlessness to blatant demonic worship. 

The spirit and soul of Babylon will work in unity to deceive the inhabitants of the world until the Messiah conquers them at His coming. 

 

Conclusion:

The establishment of a precedent that will stand for all eternity as an example to any who would consider rebellion against the authority of YHWH. The propensity of man to serve himself is inherently a loser, and leads only to self-destruction, as evidenced by history. Free will is a non-retractable gift from YHWH. To have created us otherwise would be no different than creating a machine. He receives the joy of a Father when knowing the difference between good and evil, we chose to do good.

 

And what should our action be? To prepare ourselves. To strive for the elusive perfection. To strive to bring the members of our body under the authority of the Holy Spirit, which dwells in us. Prepare our souls for the events that await us. To give our lives and breath, words and deeds to our Father. To follow His commands, and be obedient unto His will. To deny our wants, perceived needs and desires and clothe ourselves with humility. 

Seek to withdraw yourselves from the systems of this world, especially the illusion of security through wealth and mercantilism. Remember it is almost impossible for a rich man to enter the kingdom of Y'shua. 

Plan an escape from Babylon and act on it. Plan your direction and YHWH will guide your steps.

 

Ezekiel 11:19-25  “And I shall give them one heart, and put a new spirit within you. And I shall take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, so that they walk in My laws, and guard My right-rulings, and shall do them. And they shall be My people and I shall be their Elohim.  “But to those whose hearts walk after the heart of their disgusting matters and their abominations, I shall recompense their deeds on their own heads,” declares the Master YHWH.  And the Cherubim lifted up their wings, with the wheels beside them, and the esteem of the Elohim of Yisrael was high above them.  And the esteem of YHWH went up from the midst of the city and stood upon the mountain, which is on the east side of the city.  And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of Elohim into Chaldea, to those in exile. And the vision that I had seen went up from me.  And I spoke to those in exile of all the words of YHWH which He had shown me."  The land of the Chaldeans is the nation of Babylon. 

 

Ezekiel 12:16 “But I shall let a few of their men escape from the sword, from scarcity of food, and from pestilence, so that they recount all their abominations among the gentiles wherever they go. And they shall know that I am YHWH.” 

 

Ezekiel 16:29  “And you increased your whoring as far as the land of traders, Chaldea, and even then you were not satisfied."
