But know this: That in the latter days hard times will come: and men will be lovers of

themselves and lovers of money, boasters, proud, revilers, unyielding towards their own people,

deniers of grace, wicked, unloving, addicted to irreconcilable malicious gossips, ferocious,

haters of the good, treacherous, rash, inflated, attached to pleasure more than to the love of

Elohim, having a form of respect for Elohim but wide from the power of Elohim.

Them who are such, repel from you.

2 Timothy 3:1-5

Avi Ben Mordechai &

James Scott Trimm

At the same time came the disciples unto Yeshua, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?  And Yeshua called a little child unto Him, and set him in the midst of them,  And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.  Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.  And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receives me.  But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.  Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

Matthew 18:1-7

It doesn't appear as the "ministries" of Avi Ben Mordechai or James Scott Trimm will be producing righteous leadership or fruits of the Spirit any time soon.  The Beit Din these two men have spoken of (at length) is a sham, neither qualifies to even sit on a Beit Din, never mind be Rosh Beit Din.  The sad thing is, over these last 12 years since I've known these two men, there has been little or no progression in the many things discussed regarding Yeshiva, Beit Din, Community etc.  This is a sad commentary for all who have been supporting Avi and James Trimm.

There is a severe lack of accountability and leadership qualifications in these men that does not bode well for the Netzarim Community.  James Trimm continues to bring shame on himself and the Netzarim community for stealing and not keeping his word.  But, it's not only James who finds it impossible to work with and be accountable to others, many so called Netzarim or Messianic leaders have also chosen to be one-man-shows.  It's sad that those who call themselves Netzarim or Two House can't work together as a community, instead they are islands unto themselves, this is NOT the Way of the true Netzarim Faith in Yeshua, it's borne out of selfishness and it's a form of idolatry to hold one's own capabilities higher than others.  I'm saddened when leaders bring offence against Mashiyach, because they don't respect others as equals, and they bring the name of Yeshua to nothing by carnal choices.  Avi ben Mordechai and James have been using Torah and finances from the household of Faith to support their carnal ambitions and sexual deviance, rather than conforming their lives to Mashiyach and Torah.  Yeshua instructed that we must not neglect the weightier matters of Torah:

Judgment   Mercy   Faith

Plenty of souls are busy making a ministry out of Yeshua and Torah, rather than seeking Y'shua and Torah to minister into their own lives.  We don't we ask all "Netzarim" or "Ephraimite" leaders like Avi ben Mordechai and James Trimm to remember Judgment, Mercy and Faith in their own lives?

Judgment because we judge ourselves first and be careful that our actions and words are acceptable to YHWH.  We are to be accountable to YHWH and to the Body of Mashiyach for how we live, something the carnal flesh resists.  Judgment because it is wise and honourable to be introspective and take things to heart when others in the Household of Faith have complaints against us, rather than fluff others off and speak evil of those who are critical of something in our carnal flesh.  Judgment because we are called to be instinctive about the Name of YHWH and His Mashiyach Y'shua, people will attack us because we uphold the Kingdom of Elohim, but when these people are brethren, people who have supported us financially, bought our books, CD's, DVD's and teaching materials, when these brethren have something to say why brush them off so quickly.

"For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Master (Y'shua),

we are really disciplined, that we may not be condemned with the world."

1 Corinthians 11:31-32

Mercy because YHWH is Mercy.  Mercy yields to the needs of the Body and those afflicted and bestows kindness, warmth and hospitality to others.  Mercy extends respect and honor to each soul, elevating each souls life rather than elevate our own self importance above others.

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Matthew 5:7

Faith because we walk and live by Faith, we teach the "action" of Faith so we better be practising Faith.  Avi ben Mordechai and James Scott Trimm are playing games before YHWH and His Mashiyach, two individuals whom I have supported, but Faith has become an inconvenience to them, they prefer religion and American Crapitalism and stroking the ego.  There is a world of difference between teaching Torah definitions, education in Torah, speaking about the Netzari Faith and actually walking out that Faith among and with our brothers.  Many people go on speaking tours who are looking for a following of people to support their religious ideals, finance their ministries, broaden their tents.  But the reality is that the Spirit of YHWH works in our hearts nephesh b'nephesh (soul to soul), we can only minister to others after we ourselves have been on the operating table of Mashiyach and had our own carnal flesh removed.  Faith and religion are two different things.  Avi and James talk about it but don't want to be accountable to the body for their own lies, stealing and insolence.

Faith means that we understand our limitations and we humble ourselves and surrender to Mashiyach in our own lives first.  It is from this experience that our own service and ministry to others is birthed.  On the other hand, claiming to have the latest "cutting edge theology" even as pure as the wind driven snow as we might think it to be, doesn't matter on bit if we aren't becoming conformed to Mashiyach.  Even the demons "believe" and even the demons have extensive knowledge of what is "truth".  But here here we have Avi ben Mordechai and James Trimm holding themselves out to be Torah scholars, Hebrew scholars and Netzari followers of Y'shua and they have zero accountability to other men in the Household of Faith.  That my friends is evidence of dead, false egotistical religion.

Before you point your guns at me for posting this, please remember this one thing.  I've known Avi ben Mordechai and James Scott Trimm since the spring of 1997 and at one time I fully supported them with tithes and offerings and I purchased and circulated their books for them.  I have a long list of service and in my heart I know that these two can do far better, they are better than some of the garbage they've been sending out to the world.  They have both brought lots of truth into the world and most of their critics hate them simply because they are teaching Torah.  I bear no hatred, but I hear how their "ministries" have taken a toll on others, there are things they need to address, just like things every one of us has to overcome, but these two keep on fluffing me off for trying to speak about it and I'm not giving up.

If I had given up I wouldn't bother writing articles like this.  The fact of the matters is that others have recognized the problems with these two one man shows, and they will either repent and make things right or miss out on many wonderful opportunities that our Father YHWH would otherwise have for them.  It's just that simple.

I would have fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of YHWH

in the land of the living. Wait on YHWH: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on YHWH

Psalms 27:13-14

Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.  For YHWH loves judgment, and does not forsake His Chasid; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.  The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.  The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment.  The Torah of his Elohim is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to slay him.  YHWH will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.  Wait on YHWH, and keep His way, and He shall exalt you to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.  I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.  Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yes, I sought him, but he could not be found.  Mark the complete man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.  But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.  But the salvation of the righteous is of YHWH: he is their strength in the time of trouble.  And YHWH shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

Psalm 37:27-40

I waited patiently for YHWH; and He inclined me, and heard my cry

He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.  And He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our Elohim: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in YHWH.  Blessed is that man that makes YHWH his trust, and respects not the proud,

nor turns aside to lies.

Psalm 40:1-4

"And YHWH direct your hearts into the love of Elohim,

and into the patient waiting for Mashiyach"

2 Thessalonians 3:5

It's a vital and awesome responsibility to teach others the things of Y'shua and Torah.  I would not write criticism unless I was not open to constructive criticism myself, but in the process of working with Avi and James, I've realized they are likely now two of the biggest obstacles on earth to the progression of the Netzari Faith.  Their private lives show little or no accountability, they're teaching everybody else how to observe Torah and live for Y'shua.  Both have published teaching about Netzarim Judaism and claim all sorts of Hebraic, Halakhic, Aramaic and Netzarim insights, but the one-man-show shtick is so contrary to the values of the Netzarim Faith that one must conclude it's simply a way for them to make money.

Consider how Yeshua gathered others to himself and taught and discipled others.  Yeshua wasn't all over the map seeking financial support and begging for money, running a one man dog and pony show, he had no tape, CD, DVD, Radio, TV ministry he simply made disciples and his disciples in turn made disciples.

Yeshua did not employ pagan marketing practises to advance the Kingdom.  Anyone who says, "it's different now", has bitten into the apple of Hellenism and paganism, the only thing that's different is people want to protect their Crapitalism agendas.  Many souls prefer to promote their version of the "American dream" to advance "the truth", but this is hierarchical Babylon, established by Nimrod, the chief of all godless fools.  In other words we cannot use worldy ways to advance a righteous Kingdom.

The only functional difference between the "ministries" of Trimm - Ben Mordechai and most Christian denominational religions is the "theology." Avi and James preach the idea of Torah, as they look for more "sponsors" of their teachings rather than disciples to Y'shua.  If a person could raise up disciples they would, but, in reality some leaders seek a following for financial support and to play the hero and everyone who doesn't uphold their shtick gets gossiped into the dirt, like the "Ephraimite Love" I've experienced over the last decade.

Following a leader will only get you as far as the leader, that's why "man" must decrease and Mashiyach must increase.  Some men have proven that they MUST walk ahead and be venerated by their followers, some like to play the "Jewish" card and receive an elevated position or status from those who weren't born Jewish.  That's just plain carnal ego and stupidity that's as old and dead as religion itself.

Yeshua's Talmidim are called to walk as a Kedoshim, along side one another as his Talmidim and be accountable to YHWH and each other.  We are to help each other put off the old man by upholding the standards Y'shua and his Talmidim demonstrated.  Avi and James have both demonstrated a propensity to shut out those who would hold them accountable for their actions, they think they are above, like so many other pagan religious leaders.

"And he spake this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came seeking fruit thereon, and found none.  And he said unto the vinedresser, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why doth it also cumber the ground?  And he answering said unto him, Master, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: and if it bear fruit thenceforth, well; but if not, thou shall cut it down."

Luke 13:6-9

The fig tree represents a Beit Din (house of judges), those in authority who lead congregations and are responsible to teach the Kingdom of Elohim and represent Mashiyach.  The fig tree must be watered, fertilized and pruned according to the Word of YHWH.

On March 1997 I had the "privilege" of being banished from Kehillath Tsiyon in Vancouver BC, a long list of false charges were levied against me by Mr. Eli Nessim and Lionel Leslie (deceased) who uphold Trinity, Replacement Theology and anti-Torah doctrines.  I had previously objected to them banishing a brother (Immanuel Butkovsky) because he had disputed the "persons of the Trinity" doctrine with them.  Shortly after my objections, the leaders unilaterally banished me, then he mounted a gossip campaign to vilify me so they could not be held accountable for their wickedness.  It was shortly after that when I met Avi ben Mordechai who then introduced me to James Trimm.

My hope was that these two men would actually fulfill some of the visions they spoke about for true Netzarim community, but there was nothing but talk, year after year and passing around the plate so they could get money for themselves.  Both these men head up one-man-show "teaching ministries", where they teach but neither are qualified to do what they talk about.  Over the last decade I've witnessed them both bounce like yo-yo's from one focus to another, anyone who would be "mentored" by them knows about their "yo-yo effect", men do this to appear as if they're on the "cutting edge" of truth.  I began to develop a bit of a crook in the neck watching them bounce and bust over numerous issues.  I invested time and money to support these two, if they didn't want my input, they shouldn't have accepted my support and friendship.

     The parable of the fig tree in Luke 13 gives us spiritual insights into a Torah principle regarding the shmittah (seven year land Shabbat Exodus 23:11).  On the 3rd year of the shmittah (Deut 26:12) there is a special offering that distinguishes that year.  This is alluded to in this parable.  Also what is alluded to in this parable is the Torah of planting trees;

"And when you come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then you shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.  But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be Kadosh to praise YHWH.  And in the fifth year shall you eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am YHWH Elohim."

Leviticus 19:23-25

On a midrashic level we are all "men resembling walking trees" or "men like trees walking" (Mark 8:24).  Israel is represented by the Olive Tree.  The Sanhedrin is represented by the fig tree.  The four species that cover our succas on Succoth represent all of us who are different kinds of branches, the 4 sons we read of during the seder are derived from Torah and also represent different types of people.

Therefore, when we read the parable of a "fig tree planted in his vineyard" this is about a man or men who would grow up as "judges" and produce their fruits "judgments" that are either pleasing to YHWH or not.  However, it's the fig tree itself that is being judged and within 4 years YHWH will determine whether it will live or die, because every seven years there is a whole new "faith to faith" level that we as spiritual beings are called to grow into.  These are seasons of spiritual maturity in our lives that we either understand, grow into and walk in or we don't get it.

We know that no man is to be an island unto himself, we are first to judge ourselves and YHWH also commands that we judge to see our own fruit and the fruits of what our ministries and our leaders are producing.  Anyone who represents YHWH's Name within the Household of Faith is to be a disciple of Mashiyach and grow in maturity as the Spirit leads us.  So what I'm saying is, YHWH is patient, merciful and kind.  He is more patient with us that we sometimes are with ourselves and others, but, He is not going to let a "fig tree" grow within His Body and produce rotten figs and anti-Torah judgments and conduct.  He himself will cut it down.  So if we stand back and see what has happened among those who claim to be Netzari and Two House leaders, YHWH has done a bit of house cleaning.  Some of these leaders doing things in their private lives that is a dishonour to YHWH and the Body of Mashiyach.

The Household of Faith on the other hand must be able to recognize these things, search out the Scriptures daily as Bereans ourselves and discuss these matters so as not to become stagnant in our own faith, or, put a "glass ceiling" on our faith by sitting under the teachings of a leader who cannot overcome his or her own carnal deficiencies that are keeping them from progressing in the things of the Kingdom.  We are to work and support each other, but not shovel our sins or the sins of others under the carpet and pretend things will get better one day, that's what false religion does.

I waited and tilled and fertilized and then when I saw the teachings of Avi ben Morechai and James Scott Trimm making a big loop back to Babylon I had to say something.  Faith isn't knowledge and knowledge about Torah isn't Faith.  The application of Torah is Faith.  Overcoming the carnal flesh is very important when a person is in leadership, otherwise all you end up with is another religious social club.

I pray that none of us will let unresolved trespasses in our lives continue.  If we have a mustard seed of Faith and only one grain of love for our Brethren, we will seek to resolve conflicts and transgressions between us.  When I make an offence to the Name of YHWH I hope to be be held accountable by my peers and then seek reconciliation of all things in Mashiyach Y'shua.  Let YHWH be true and every man a liar, and may His Name be exalted in our words and our actions and for His Name's sake let our words and actions in Him be preferred over our own desires.

YHWH be with you,

Shalom U'Vrachot,

Baruch Ben Daniel
