Repairer of the Breach Congregation

The Brian & Lucie Anderson gong show...

Brian Anderson

(wearing his Kadosh L'YHWH Keepa)

Mr. Brian Anderson is an "Spiritual Ephraimite", "Two House" Pastor who leads a fellowship which he named "Repairer of the Breach", they are based in Kelowna, Westbank, Winfield BC Canada.  Mr. Anderson found himself up on charges of breaking Shabbat (going to a spa for massage and carousing) slander and a host of other violations against Torah, he chose to scorn those who requested a meeting with himself and witnesses.  This is an account of the matter, but first, this is going on public record for a reason.  So if you are not party to this matter then I would think that there would be no reason to either read it?  Since I've posted this I've had several emails from those who have also made claims of being abused by Mr. Brian Anderson and he has not expressed any remorse for his actions that I am aware of, nor consented to any meetings for the purpose of reconciliation.

There were a series of Torah violations already on the table, leading up to that fateful day of Shabbat May 6th, 2006.  On that Shabbat Brian and Lucie Anderson accepted an invitation from their daughter Marina and entire congregation, to attend a Spa in the Okanagan valley.  But this was only the proverbial tip of the iceberg.

Personal appeals to their daughter Marina and son Matthew to NOT send their parents to a spa on Shabbat were ignored.  I offered to put up the money so their parents could go on a proper vacation.  I consulted with Lucie Anderson to see what could be done to arrange for someone to take over the responsibilities at her day care to enable her to take a vacation.  I explained to many individuals at Repairer of the Breach why it was wrong for their pastor to break Shabbat, a Pastor who claims to be Torah Observant.  It was the middle of the week when I discovered Brian took the bait, I didn't attend the service that Shabbat so I never knew what had happened until someone phoned and told me how awkward they felt when the congregation had a big ra ra and sent them off to spa bliss.

I had assumed Brian and Lucie had found an alternative to leaving their congregation on Shabbat and going to the spa, I was wrong.  I phoned Brian Anderson when I heard, but he never called back until Friday, May 12th, 2006.  During our conversation Brian Anderson's response was that he opted for the better of two evils.  He felt he had done nothing wrong and had no intention to make any kind of repentance, to that I suggested he invite men of the congregation to repent, pray and participate together in leadership to develop accountability.  I also demanded that he step down as the pastor for 6 months, not only for the violation of Shabbat but for a host of unacceptable conduct against Mashiyach and the Body.  Brian chose to hide his transgression and escalate the matter between us.  The next day on Shabbat I was thoroughly slandered and scorned by Brian Anderson and the entire Repairer of the Breach congregation.  Brian Anderson sat welcomed Elaine Dueck to "demonize" me before the congregation, and Brian and his wife Lucie mounted a campaign against me that was manipulative and deceitful.  He thinks he can do this kind of stuff, because he's "the Pastor".

On the phone that Friday evening, Lucie Anderson mentioned that her daughter was 15 years old when she and Brian began walking in Torah and that her daughter could not be blamed for her actions, she was doing the best thing she knew.  But I wasn't blaming their daughter, although one would think she would have known better. This was a very sad commentary from a mother, Marina is in her early twenties, and she and their entire family still show blatant disregard for very basic Torah principles?  These principles I am referring to are not "Judah", or "Christian", or "Ephraim" they are basic respect, dignity and decency of how to treat one another in the Body as well as respect ones own confession of faith.  Not only have the Andersons demonstrated that their own son and daughter have little understanding of their supposed "Torah" values, but they have shown themselves ineffective in reconciliatory matters.  Instead of reconciliation and "repair", when caught in a tight spot, they bring gossip, slander, lies, manipulation and welcome slanderers like Elaine and Alfred Dueck to be brought forward to "minister" slander to the congregation.

Brian and Lucie had no regard for the gravity of their violation of Shabbat, until our phone call, nor do they realize the gravity of having “all the congregation” raising money on Shabbat and consenting to their violation of Shabbat when they themselves posture themselves as Torah Observant.  In our conversation of May 12th Brian and Lucie demonstrated NO remorse for their transgression, I was told by them that their choice was the "better of two evils", they broke Shabbat so as not to hurt their daughters feelings.  Lucie assured me that they read Scripture while at the Spa, and rebooked dinner reservations for after sunset.  This is one of the most pathetic and appalling testimonies I've ever heard from a supposed Torah Observant "Pastor", and I feel rather ashamed that the whole congregation bought into it, and that I was foolish enough to believe them that they have a love for the Word of YHWH.  However, they certainly do talk about Torah.  The fact of the matter is that I came down hard on Brian, and was even more shocked by his response.  Brian and Lucie immediately began to back-peddle, they brought forth a pseudo-repentance act for the next day before their congregation and then fingered me as the problem in their congregation.

Without restitution there is no repentance, just more cheap talk.  Had I not said anything, I very much doubt there would have been any repentance whatsoever, they would have simply covered their transgression.  But there is a greater underlying reason why Brian and Lucie chose to slander and lie about our conversation, all while claiming to have respect for my person.  Yes their pastor Brian Anderson used to go around telling people what great respect he had for my Torah teaching, but all the while he was also hearing slander about me, harboring evil imaginations in his heart and guarding himself, because he was instructed from the very first day we met that I was "dangerous".

Team Leadership

From my first meetings during Pesach and Hag HaMatzah 2005 with Brian Anderson, I broached the subject of “team leadership”, or what is known in Torah as a “Beit Din” (House of Counsellors/Judges).  Where men who are Mighty in Scripture and full of the Discernment of the Ruach haKodesh (Set-Apart Spirit) bring reconciliation within the body of Believers.  Brian Anderson informed me on our second meeting, that it is “wrong to rebuke the Pastor”, and that his congregants must take their grievances to YHWH in prayer and “let YHWH deal with the Pastor”.  I know now why he offered this garbage on our second meeting, he clearly wanted to establish his authority as “the Pastor” of the congregation, but he also heard some "inside" slander about me from the Duecks.  From the very beginning he was playing religious games with me.

Any person who demands veto authority over a congregation is an idolater, this is clearly illustrated in Scripture in many circumstances, not the least of which is in the account of Abimelech in the Book of Judges.  Brian Anderson and his mentors are therefore likened to spiritual Abimelechs and idolaters regarding this matter, they get their authority and teaching from christo-pagan backgrounds, where this is considered normal.  This is one anti-Torah value which is extremely difficult for religious people to shake, it's impossible without direct intervention and deliverance through the Ruach haKodesh.  This is the root of evil of Babylon which first began with Nimrod, it is the scheme of all false religion and government, pastors, rabbis, and spiritual leaders, who let their followers idolize them and uphold the lie about their "authority".  The mark of a legitimate leader who is installed by YHWH's Authority are men like Gideon:

"Then the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over us, both you, and your son,

and your son's son also: for you have delivered us from the hand of Midian.

And Gideon said unto them, I will not rule over you, neither shall my son rule over you:

 YHWH shall rule over you."

Judges 8:22-23.

Mankind is to be brought into YHWH's rule in Mashiyach, this is the function of the Ruach haKodesh Who provides spiritual discernment for all men and women who seek YHWH.  However it is you, I, and everyone who is required to uphold this work of the Ruach haKodesh in ourselves and in others, rather than usurp sovereignty over others as "leaders" over YHWH's people, and give out some sort of regurgitated "gospel".  False leadership authority is very popular within Christianity and Judaism where men prefer the praise of others, rather than the praise of YHWH.  It is extremely easy and carnal for most leaders to negate this basic Torah principle because status quo demands that leaders be "elevated" according to their position, it's a social normative.  Let me spell this out real clear.

1) Men have NOT been "ordained by YHWH" to usurp sovereignty over other men, and play god.  Fathers and mothers discipline their children, and individuals are to exercise their spiritual gifts for the greater benefit of the body of Mashiyach, as servants.  Men with vision, discernment, spiritual wherewithal and connection with YHWH are called to be teachers, prophets, priests etc, however their job is to raise up levels of Torah and Messiah Consciousness in others, not to get followings unto themselves.  Not rule over, but to serve others.  This is a very basic and obvious principle of Torah and Mashiyach, Matthew 23:11, the Malchut Elohim is based on the sovereignty of each unique soul in Mashiyach who voluntarily follows Mashiyach and observes the Mitzvot, a person's sovereignty is to be protected, not usurped by their pastor.

2) Men are to lead people to YHWH and His Mashiyach, rather than stand between YHWH and His people, and play Mashiyach.  A very common trait among false leadership, is to make people dependant upon one's own "gifts" and abilities, and establish a hierarchy under oneself.  This formula was invented by hasatan and marketed through Nimrod in Babylon as a counterfeit to freedom in Torah according to the Government of Mashiyach.

3) Men are to be accountable to YHWH, to His Prophets and to every other soul in the congregation.  However carnal leaders choose "yes men" to support their authority and agree with their theology, rather than being directly accountable to YHWH and His Mashiyach.  The Pastors transgressions are routinely covered up and negated, because weak minded people esteem their pastor in much the same way that some think the Doctor is god.  Some pastors make up their own "torah" as they go along, and when they are exposed, they slander those who pose a threat to their authority and hierarchy.  Pastors in wrongful authority tend to make up their own agendas, they spin the facts and never let charges be levied against themselves, they push people away who don't uphold their "authority" and find new ones who will come under them.  This is how they were taught to uphold and protect "the gospel."  This is classical Babylon and Brian Anderson clearly knows this Christo-Pagan value system.

4) Men are called to equip themselves by laboring in the Word of YHWH and by growing their own intimate relationship with YHWH and His Mashiyach, rather than looking for external "sources."  The first sign of spiritual immaturity and incompetence is when a leader is a "yes man" who operates under the approval of another hierarchy that sponsors his authority, rather than looking to YHWH and His Mashiyach for approval.  Many times I've witnessed leaders get into a "tight spot", but rather than maturing and forcing their own souls to a higher level of accountability, they beat the sheep, put fear into the flock, manipulate the flock, and brandish their "authority".  This is business as usual for Brian and Lucie Anderson.

Leaders like Brian Anderson who slander others, are false shepherds, because they clearly show they are above others, and they generally have no ability to "minister" and effectively bring others into the Kingdom either, because they are unwilling to enter in themselves.  If a visitor to a congregation has to bring Torah based grievances to the leader and is spurned for doing it, one can be sure a long list of others have also been spurned.  Even the priesthood, the high priest, and Mashiyach Himself made himself accountable to other men as it pertains to Torah.  Think about it.

As a young Pastor/Rabbi in my 20's I was also encouraged by religious folk to endorse pagan leadership styles, so I know the "authority" routine from personal experience.  I quickly discovered that when I rejected the pagan models of leadership, I came under severe attack by status quo Messianic, Jewish, and Christian leaders.  I was offered "official" recognition as a Rabbi in my mid 30's and when I rejected it, I was seen as supporting "the other camp".  But the games that men play before YHWH are all going to come to an abrupt end, sooner than later.

It is the idolatrous pagan model of authority that enslaves YHWH's people, there is no greater challenge to the body of Mashiyach than to unyoke from the Hellenistic model of authority.  Right from day one Mr. Brian Anderson and I squared off on this premise, Mr. Anderson runs roughshod over the souls of others.  What Brian Anderson fails to realize is that because of his own lifestyle choices, the souls under his "authority" will never reach their potential in Mashiyach while under his "authority".  What happens is that leaders like Brian Anderson are not accountable to anyone, Mr. Anderson preaches Torah, but is embarrassed to live by it.

Most people are well aware that “lordship” over others doesn't build confidence and loyalty.  Team and co-operative values produce the highest degree of belonging and responsibility within a group of people, but every group needs vision and leadership.  The office of Pastor or Rabbi is given from YHWH to nurture the body of Mashiyach, the office is set apart unto YHWH, but men who take this office are often times insecure, cowardly and just as unqualified as the next man as it pertains to leadership and walking in Mashiyach.  For a pastor to deny a meeting of witnesses is cowardice.  Mr. Anderson hides behind slander and gossip, not only against myself but he attacked others like Warren Bowles, Carl Parker and Kim Mitchell who have demonstrated higher degrees of personal Torah discipline than himself.  These and others have been slighted simply because Mr. Anderson has no interest in being an accountable leader himself.  It's too bad.

Public record:  I'm going on public record to say that Mr. Anderson's style of leadership is unacceptable and this public record is meant for those who are directly involved with this issue, or who can bring wise counsel or prayer to bring about reconciliation at Repairer of the Breach.  In my opinion it is an abomination to call oneself after the very high calling of Repairer of the Breach but act as a destroyer.  If there were any attempts at reconciliation this page would have been deleted, but Mr. Anderson thinks he's above the rest of us.

Team leadership recognizes a body of men and women who are equally vested, they are to keep each other accountable to Torah as one voice and one congregation.  Team leadership establishes peer group confidence to live set apart from the world, to swim upstream, and to scale the walls of the enemy and pull them down.  If a person is fearful of facing his own demons, how can he be of any benefit to others?  The world today, is as it was in the Days of Noach and in Sodom and Gomorrah, men's thoughts are evil continually and it is peer group accountability and maturity that helps keep the Body of Mashiyach living according to Torah.  The old religious one-man-shows are based on ego, all they can do is keep people following dead religion.

YHWH hates hirelings.  One reason why I have never personally taken tithe money from the Body of Mashiyach, is that I consider it a very great privilege to return my time and service to Mashiyach for what He has done for me.  When a Pastor or Rabbi takes tithes and offerings from YHWH's people they are held to a much higher level of accountability for the way they live, how they conduct themselves, and how fruitful they are by investing the time and tithes allowed them for their service unto YHWH's people.  I have given no one "justification" to point fingers at me for being a hireling.  Neither do I use the Torah or Mashiyach to mine for gold.  I am free to follow Y'shua and teach what I believe he shows me, and I don't have a hierarchy of men that I have to please. I only know those who are equal in Mashiyach and a peer group that will spank me if and when I need it.  I feel this is why Rav Shaul didn't set himself up as Rabbi "on salary".  If anyone on earth could have qualified for payola it would have been Rav Shaul, his qualifications and fruits of his ministry were impeccable.  If Paul wasn't a salaried Shlicha (Apostle), then I can't see how Mr. Anderson deserves the honor of receiving anyone's tithe money, by a very, very long shot.  Unfortunately, Brian appears to receive the lions share of the Repairers funds to finance his own private life, but we'll get to that later.

Apostle Paul demonstrated a very important principle of discipleship in Mashiyach Y'shua, it has to do with authority and leadership, however it is a rare thing for a Pastor to have this testimony of serving Mashiyach without requiring financial payment.  Certainly this may be way over Mr. Anderson's head and I would never expect a person like Brian Anderson to serve the body without payment for "services" rendered.  But the fact of the matter is that he has gone overboard to gossip and slander because of the matter of his own false leadership and lack of Torah discipline.  Could not Mr. Anderson have humbled himself rather than go to war and defend his carnal lifestyle that makes void Torah?

According to Scripture, the Cohanim (Priests) are to be judges who are capable of bringing wise counsel and discernment to the House of Israel.  For one man to assume himself to be the "chosen one" for the congregation is vanity.

And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.  And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it according to my judgments: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my Sabbaths.” Ezekiel 44:23-24

Anyone with even a hint of Torah consciousness knows that Priests were required to be accountable to YHWH, to each other, and to the entire Body.  I certainly do not believe all hope is lost, but I think it is wrong to remain silent while Mr. Anderson or anyone else goes on a slandering campaign against my person or anyone else.  I entered into a relationship with Mr. Anderson to support him as a person, and support his family, and his congregation even after he flatly determined that he wanted to remain as an "Abimelech".  Mr. Anderson conferred with me on important matters of the congregation and I fully supported his wishes to establish a righteous community, knowing full well that I was dealing with a man who is rough around the edges, but I felt we had hope and purpose together in Mashiyach (I don't consider myself the most refined individual on the planet either).  However the cumulative abuse of Torah and slander has caused me not only to withdraw any recommendation of him, but to go on public record to clarify things.  Let's face it we all need repair, we all have blind spots and it is with recognition of my own imperfections and blind spots that I write an account of the matter.  But I'm here to do a thorough job and hopefully build for the future, so we're not done here yet.

When I rebuked Brian Anderson and Lucie for their Shabbat violation of May 6th 2006 and asked Brian to step down as the “Pastor”, Lucie informed me that she already replied by email to the “controversy” about what they did.  They don’t get it, this is not about a “controversy” Lucie.  I am only one soul who demanded they step down.  The matter of Brian and Lucie violating Shabbat was one infraction but Lucie was much more concerned about dealing with the "controversy" that came up, than that the fact that she and her congregation just finished trashing their Shabbat Shalom!

The fact that Brian and Lucie’s own son and daughter are so extremely ill-informed about Shabbat speaks volumes of Brian and Lucie’s negligence in their own home.  Their son thought it more meritorious to go sailing with friends than observe a Feast unto YHWH, when I asked him about this matter he couldn't offer any moral dilemma as to why it was the wrong thing to do.  How therefore could anyone expect Torah disciplines in Mashiyach as a body to grow, if the Love for Torah has not been developed and nurtured at home among it's "leader" and children?  Regardless of how difficult the choice may have been for a son to decide between the Moedim of YHWH or a sailing adventure, these are the kind of choices Believers all over the world face every day.  I faced many of these choices in my teen years, thankfully I had a father who made sure I was raised with a healthy peer group of young people who could distinguish between the things of the fallen world and those of the Malchut Elohim.

Violation of Shabbat

Mr. Anderson's wife runs a day care business on Shabbat, she takes no profits for it on Shabbat.  She is being a poor example to the entire Messianic community.  There is no place in Torah that permits someone to hire others on Shabbat so you don't have to work, even if she does not spend the money she makes, she gets the benefit from her business operating on Shabbat.  If it is a case of needing money that badly, then Lucie has made money an idol ahead of YHWH and His Torah.  Rabbinical Judaism also finds creative ways to "get around" Torah because they have also not had Torah written upon their hearts, according to Mashiyach.

When violating Shabbat, Brian Anderson stated they chose the "best of two evils", either they would hurt his daughters and congregations feelings (who put them up to it), or they would break the 4th Commandment.  So they chose to break Shabbat.  There is a Jewish proverb that says, “if you have not lived to Sanctify the Name of YHWH, neither will you die to Sanctify His Name.”

One Shabbat in the middle of the “Torah Service” Brian Anderson got up, left the congregational meeting and went to have small talk with John Aaron.  Obviously Brian and John Aaron had more important matters than serving YHWH's congregation and His Mashiyach.  This kind of disrespect is immature and arrogant, unless there was a fire in the building there is no reason to exit for some talking that could easily have waited a few minutes.

Mr. Anderson requested that I speak with he and his wife Lucie together on the phone so she could hear what I had to say, so after Brian and Lucie conferred with each other from my first call, later on that Friday evening I spoke with both of them.  There was no repentance, Brian simply stated they chose the best of two evils and that they love YHWH and that they were forgiven.  The next time I spoke with him, he said "it's all under the blood".  For those of you who don't know Christianese, this is typical cheap grace which says yes I sinned but I don't need to make any restitution because Jesus is the dormat for my all sin, even if I hurt other people.  No Brian don't wag your tongue about how much you "love YHWH", just do the right thing rather than talk about it.  And the fact of the matter is you didn't repent about anything until I shared my great disappointment with you, only then did you pour out the poor little kitty act in front of your congregation, and evoked more sympathy for yourself.

Violations of Miqra HaKodesh

For the sake of brevity I'll just say that when the pastor's daughter and the worship leaders want to play cards on Shabbat and High Feast Days, you basically know that you're starting off from ground zero.  Most people know what the faces on playing cards represent, the kings, queens, aces, spades, diamonds etc.  But the sad thing is that there is such a spiritual vacuum at the Repairer of the Breach, that they couldn't imagine why I or others might now want to play card games with them.  Yes folks, there are actually much better things to do with our time, when YHWH has been invited into our hearts for the day, than to play card games.

These people just don't seem to get it, maybe someone could try to teach them, but then again, they would probably slander any decent person right out of the congregation.  This time it was Baruch the Judaiser.  Baruch the one-houser.  Baruch the legalist, it's the same old religious garbage that others have tried to shovel on me most of my life, but now it's coming out of "Torah Observant Believers"?

My experience with the Repairer Congregation at a Shavuot Feast in 2005 also had much room for improvement.  The Set Apart day wasn't yet over and the Repairer crowd were in vehicles in a hurry to get back to more important things, business as usual.  NO.  We don't treat YHWH's Feasts as ordinary, that's not Torah Observance.

Rather than persons from the Repairer Congregation making individual contributions toward the expenses of the Feast, Mr. Anderson played the "broker."  The congregants gave him monies and he cut a check toward the expenses for the Feast.  It was such a "huge" check that the treasurer felt it prudent to donate it back to the Repairer Congregation, apparently they have also been suffering under a burden of poverty.  Or perhaps Brian's self importance caused him to cream off some cash for himself.  This would be normal and acceptable behaviour for a a lot of pastors... hmmm, I think I see a pattern here.

Shavuot is one of those Feasts where YHWH says, "all males shall appear before Him", and bring forth blessings each as he is able.  There is a deep beauty in observing the Feasts of YHWH, and if a person can stop the other stuff, they might even connect with Mashiyach long enough to make a real difference in their lives.

Rechilus, Lashon Hara etc.

Mr. Anderson was in the habit of making Rechilus (harmful speech) and Lashon Hara (evil tongue) against his own soul, in front of the whole congregation, in small groups and one on one meetings.

It is inappropriate to bring up our parents failings, especially in front of a congregation who had come together to draw close to YHWH and His Mashiyach.  Stuff like a parents pornography on strewen over walls of their home isn't honoring a father and doesn't beget honor to a father.  Not only is this shameful for a pastor, but Mr. Anderson has repeated violated the 5th Commandment by dishonoring his father in front of other fathers and sons.  Certainly if Mr. Anderson as the pastor can drag his father's name through the mud, then others can to do the same with their own fathers name.  Even young baby Christians who grew up with pedophile fathers realize that their fathers were demon possessed and couldn't control themselves, so they don't blame their fathers soul per se, they blame the source of evil and try to learn how to forgive their fathers.

The Repairer of the Breach congregation had a disproportionate number of divorcees in attendance, and as the law of truth states, the unrepentant sins of the fathers and mothers are visited upon their children.  There are things called "familiar spirits" or "family spirits" which are unclean spirits who market the same doctrines to the children that the parents bought into, this is why fathers and mothers shouldn't be just talkers, but doers of Torah.

One Shabbat Mr. Anderson jested a member of the congregation for having 3 failed marriages.  I wasn't aware the fellow had these serious marriage problems throughout his life, and was embarrassed on his behalf to hear of it, on Shabbat, before an entire congregation.  They joked about it.  A pathetic display of carnal talk, but the guy with three failed marriages appears to produce the same kind of carnal gossipy mouth as his pastor, so it was business as usual?  Inside or outside of the congregation?  This is shameful.

Mr. Anderson jested and bragged about his fallen life before becoming a Christian.  Decent people understand these things shouldn't come out of the mouth, never mind from their “Pastor”.  Mr. Anderson wants sympathy, if people feel sorry for him they will continue to support him as their pastor, because he himself is needy and because they also lack vision for higher levels of true community and righteous living.

Evil imaginations

Mr. Anderson insinuated that I was “put up” to teaching about and trying to implement a Beit Din in his congregation.  I asked Brian who he thought put me up to it, but he refused to answer.  Mr. Anderson was hiding an evil imagination against me from the time we met, because from the very beginning Brian and his wife Lucie invited slander about me from Alfred and Elaine Dueck.  When Elaine Dueck's slander was welcomed before the entire congregation the Anderson's could rest easy, I became the "unforgiving" scapegoat.

I was aware early in that Mr. Anderson listened to tall tales, because on our second meeting Mr. Anderson called me Bruce rather than Baruch.  I asked him where he got the name Bruce from but he wouldn't tell me.  Over the years I've discovered that anti-Semitic or pro-christo-pagan or pseudo Torah Messianic Believers revert to calling me "Bruce" once they find out something about me or my teachings that they don't approve of, it's their way of trying to take control.  Upon meeting Alfred Dueck at the Repairer of the Breach congregation in Kelowna, during my first visit, I knew full well that the slander against me was on the way, the Duecks have been slandering me for well over 12 years, but I'm not alone, they also habitually slander every other leader they have theological disagreements or personality conflicts with.  When I spoke with Alfred Dueck to see if the climate had changed between us, he also took a shot at Brian Anderson and the whole Ephraimite Movement.

Rejection and Contempt for establishing a Beit Din.

Mr. Brian Anderson rejected the ideas and implementation of a Beit Din (even when he didn't know what it was), because he is both ignorant of Torah and because he chooses to not relinquish his Nimrodish authority.  He suggested that his right hand men, Steve and Richard sit on a Beit Din, but of course Brian would effectively be the rosh beit din (the head), because both Steve and Richard are yes men.  Richard stated that in his own words he is a “butt kisser”, and that it's ok to be a butt kisser, and that someone has to be a butt kisser.  Richard is happy under a Nimrodish authority because this is clearly all he has ever known, like the rest of the congregation.

Those who attended the Repairer AGM in the fall of 2005, may remember Brian Anderson making great swelling statements of not being around "yes-men", but the facts speak very loudly for themselves.  Mr. Anderson has apparently surrounded himself with light and vain "yes men."

Manipulation

I rebuked Brian and Lucie Anderson on Friday afternoon May 12th 2006, just before Shabbat and demanded he step down for 6 months.  The next day, on Shabbat, in front of the whole congregation Brian tells everyone that I’ve demanded his resignation, but he forgot to mention the fact that I didn't say that.  Then he gave an ultimatum to the congregation to decide whether they want him as a Pastor or not.  Then they passed the torch to Elaine Dueck who rang up charges against me for plotting to destroy their congregation and turn it into a James Trimm gong show.  Brian Anderson then left the congregation hanging in mid air, I was not there to speak for myself, nor was I allowed an opportunity to meet together with Brian Anderson and Alfred and Elaine Dueck with witnesses.  Because they knew they would be found out very quickly.  A fellow named Russell joined in with their manipulation and protected their slander by coming under their authority but suggesting that they would all Repair the breach.

Tattooed Pastor

Many Christians, after becoming new converts to Christianity have their tattoos removed at great cost and aggravation, because they do not want to be a stumbling block to other Christians.  Mr. Brian Anderson maintains his tattoos, a violation of Torah and defiance against YHWH.  If young and zealous Christians who are NOT in leadership choose to voluntarily remove tattoos, how is it that a Pastor has not done this long ago?

Immodest Dress

Very few women at the Repairer Congregation like to wear dresses, they dress in pants, to be “comfortable".  One Shabbat a "worship" leader showed up dressed as though she just rode in with the Hells Angels, black jogging pants white racing stripes and immodest dress.  If the "leaders" dress immodestly, why shouldn't everyone else?  I didn't rebuke or reprove anyone at the congregation simply because I doubted very much if this was even something even on their minds, and there is little point in saying anything unless one has reason to believe a person cares, or that the Ruach is even speaking to them regarding these matters.

If the "leaders" cannot make Shabbat a set apart and special event, why would the "followers."  People dress in formal business attire for the world's standards, but they cannot take some time to beautify the Shabbat?  This is indicative of people who are known a hobbyists, (as one brother calls it).  Before the Joy of Shabbat can really permeate a congregation, Shabbat must be honored, it is disgraceful and appalling when the “leadership” doesn’t even make an effort to establish Shabbat as a special time for worship.

Sang those songs

Make a joyful noise all ye lands... doesn't mean to make noise.  Those who are "worship leaders" are leaders who are called to delight in worship, develop their gifts, take time to practise and learn and advance in worship.  This might seem a bit hard but there are people who like to be up in front of others but who really haven't invested much in their own gift of singing or musicianship together.  If we truly prefer the things of Mashiyach then we find it a great joy to nurture the gifts within us, rather than just "show up."

Cult Style of Leadership

Mr. Anderson shows no accountability to any other leaders however he sees trouble with pretty much every leader that he speaks about.  Rather than community and honor between leaders in the area, Mr. Anderson runs a tight introverted camp, this is very telling of a religious motive.  Mr. Anderson's positions against a Torah based Beit Din speak volumes about a lack of integrity.  The congregation adheres to the "Ephraimite" or "Two House" gospel, they are "spiritual Ephraimites" under the umbrella of the Ephraimite movement, but even the top regionaly Ephraimite, won't have anything to do with the Repairer of the Breach congregation.  Unless you've heard both sides of the story, you don't know the story.  Mr. Brian Anderson can string together some pretty crafty lies, about those who he doesn't approve of.

I might as well confess now, that one of the reasons I had a relationship with Brian was because he doesn't spout off the ardent British/America Israel bloodline identity "Ephraimite Gospel".  However knowing what I know about many Ephraimite leaders (Carl Parker being one) there is no way that Brian and Lucie's congregation would have any legitimacy within the mainstream Ephraimite movement, because of their lifestyles and poor leadership counsel toward others.

Ineffective Leadership

Tasks like organizing and preparing for the Biblical Feasts, are generally not accomplished by "Pastor Brian" but by volunteers.  Apparently Mr. Anderson just has to shows up and talk, and talk, and talk about the same old, same old, because he routinely shows up for meetings unprepared and shoots from the hip, repeating himself ad nausea, repeating himself, and repeating and repeating...

High level repetition is brainwashing, it is not conducive to acquiring a healthy Torah education.

I'm sad to say that the most pathetic Seder I’ve ever attended was at Repairer of the Breach in 2006.  The physical food was excellent, but the Spiritual food caused indigestion, I drove away with my heart in my toes.  The highlight of the Seder (for the congregation) was a fiddler on the roof drama.  The next Shabbat meeting after Chag HaMatzah, Brian Anderson commented on the Fiddler drama as the highlight of the Seder, and made mention that he wanted the Seder to have an even "lighter feel" next year.

Certainly one wouldn't want to burden anyone with the heaviness of Messiah's shed blood.  Yes, evidently the Seder, the great Deliverance and Redemption, Y'shua’s Blood Covenant, are an inconvenience for Brian Anderson who would rather have his wife work out a Fiddler Drama and keep everything "light" and entertaining.  Well perhaps the upside of all this, is that there is a concentration of these types attending the one congregation, perhaps YHWH will raise up other men in the Kelowna area who appreciate what the Blood of Mashiyach has done for them, and what it means to be delivered?  Who knows?  And maybe next year Brian Anderson and the Repairer of the Breach Congregation will hire some dancing girls from Vegas to keep everything "light" and entertaining at their Seder?  Well this is why there are some Reform movements who make the best social clubs where poker night and Hollywood conversationalists feel at home.

Lack of Peer Group

Brian Anderson doesn’t understand the importance of peer groups, for either the young or older people in the congregation.  Rather than build strong peer relationships to uphold righteousness the congregation struggles with low level infidelities and unrighteousness.  In conversations with Brian it was evident that he struggled to understand basic peer community principles, his response to the need of peer group is to gossip, socialize, talk about it and send the sheep off to the wolves, naked, without any clothes.

Abuse of Authority

During the AGM (I was surprised to be asked me to sit in on it as a visitor), one of "the brethren" queried Mr. Anderson about the financials.  He had been querying about the financials for some time and he was being ignored.  It appears as the pastor has a creative way of avoiding government requirements regarding his financials and corporate structure of his church.  But the government is bad and he is good, therefore he can do what is right in his own eyes.  No Mr. Anderson, things don't work this way.  It's ok to mitigate, but stealing is a violation of the 8th and lying is a violation of the 9th.

He's a sick man

Mr. Brian Anderson had serious struggles with his health, everybody knows that physical sickness is very often a symptom of poor lifestyle choices that cause spiritual , mental and physical sickness etc.  But Brian Anderson didn't seem to be too concerned about being sick, he elicits sympathy from the little flock.  It's not encouraging when your leader is sickly and can't seem to shake it off.  When trying to help him find a location or building for the fellowship to purchase, Mr. Anderson suggested that buying was too risky, he didn't have much confidence in the cash flow generated by his church and he was suffering from physical sickness.  He thought it best to pay rent, rather that build humble beginnings for the future, his physical sickness handicapped the whole congregation.  A lot of Ephraimites like to talk about living in Israel, getting ready for the utopian Messianic Age, but all these type of things are very hard to pull off if one's body is sickly.  Why not fast and pray and overcome, or is that too difficult?

Intention

Many Believers in the Okanagan Valley like myself feel betrayed by Mr. Brian Anderson and the Repairer congregation, on many levels.  A Pastor and his family have greater expectations upon them to be reasonably good examples, if they can't do this, or don't want to be examples, perhaps they should find something else to do rather than lead others.  Infidelity against Torah and Mashiyach, the gossiping, the dual standards, the manipulation of people in the congregation, the lowering of standards at home is unacceptable.  However most of the people at the Repairer Congregation have come to accept low standards, therefore they have collectively spoken their intentions against Torah observance and Mashiyach Yeshua.

Reconciliation

I don't expect any kind of decent response from anyone at the Repairer fellowship, but I did wait for a good long while, yes I did yield to Russ Hinter at his request, to see if we could resolve some of the "demonization" and slander against me.  Russ Hinter seemed to have some ideas about how to resolve the slander, and even suggested he would try to have a meeting to see if we could make resolve but there was no stopping the slander machine at the Repairer camp.  It's amazing how many "believers" are legends in their own minds, pure as the wind driven snow, wisest of counsellors, but when it comes to action they are dead in the water.  Nevertheless, there is always a still small voice and always a shred of hope.  I hope there will be humility and repentance one day, I don't expect to be united with Brian or the Repairer congregation.  I'm reviewing what I wrote here two years ago and nothing has been forthcoming.  But I hope that individuals will take the matter of slander importantly enough to realize, the social club nature of their congregation where slander is an accepted event for them.  I also hope that additional "believers" won't spin their spiritual wheels on slippery slander.  I don't see how there can be any progression towards reconciliation unless the matter is taken seriously, hence the wider audience and this is why I've gone on public record.  I waited several months before I originally posted this.  If there is no ministry, then there is no reason to feel ashamed of their sinful actions, they are not upset they got caught.  Isn't this also how rebellious children act also?

Accountability should be a desire of everyone in the Household of Faith, first unto YHWH and His Mashiyach then within one another.  What was said, intimated or gossiped about by members of the congregation is shameful.  If those who spread slander and incite hatred and division are not judged, the cycle will only continue, but that judgment is felt through guilt, separation and desire to be cleansed.

Anyone who even opposes a hearing of charges is covering transgression, they've pointed their fingers in an attempt to hide their transgression.  Elaine Dueck emailed and requested a meeting with her and her husband privately.  This is far from being an appropriate response to her slander, I refused to meet with her and her husband without witnesses, because they in no way invoked the protocols of Matthew 18.

Never have Elaine or Alfred charged me for any wrongful conduct to my person, but they've mustered a long term slander campaign against me over many years.  I agreed with Russ Hinter to meet with them and Brian only if there were witnesses, but I was refused.  I also sought legal counsel regarding the matter of their slander against me and made several resolutions based on Torah and Y'shua by which to proceed.

I phoned Brian Anderson and requested a meeting with him before witnesses and he denied one, obviously to cover up the deceitful behaviour.  Reconciliation is not impossible, but it is highly unlikely because the carnal lifestyles of super spiritual religious people are hidden within deep within their own acceptable levels of hypocrisy.  If they or anyone else in the congregation had the Fear of YHWH, they would certainly not have treated these matters lightly.

Forward vision

Every Community will stand or fall in Mashiyach based on a collective effort to uphold Righteousness.  How each soul is regarded will also permeate all other souls in the congregation.  There have been so many evident violations of the Word of YHWH within the congregation that I have only highlighted the obvious, my interest is to hold the Anderson's accountable.  It's better to do this sooner than later.  Neither Brian or Lucie Anderson apparently or others within the clan have resources to make reconciliation, otherwise they would have done so long ago, they've been given every opportunity.

These are the things that you shall do; Speak every man the truth to his neighbour; execute judgment in truth and peace in your gates:  And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, says YHWH.  Zechariah 8:16, 17.

The question is, does “YHWH live among them”, is their lifestyle, conversation and fruits in Torah observance welcoming the Ruach haKodesh into their homes.  Someone who lies, manipulates and deceives others might well say they “Love YHWH” and want forgiveness of their sins, but where is the victory that brings renewal.  B’midbar 5:3 YHWH states that the reason those with tzara’at were expelled from the camp, is that YHWH dwells among His people.  Gossip is spiritual leprosy.  Religious talk about Y'shua and Torah is not going to produce any righteous conduct, talk is cheap among those who have no intention of living sanctified lives.

I've posted a number of obvious things that are an offense to YHWH and His Mashiyach and the entire Body.  Something needs to be done about the matter and I'm not about to sweep it under the "Repairer" carpet.  Where are the "believers" at "Repairer" who are valiant for truth, or will more slandering "believers" join their throng?  All those people who were there and listened to the slander have shown who they really are, they have very, very little  or no Torah consciousness and no shame.

Some souls are upset that I've posting this account of the matter, and asked me why I'm doing this.  Some seem to think I could push weak souls further into reprobation, give them excuses for greater transgressions.  But I think that each one will be true to what is inside of them and who they are.  If a person is looking for an excuse to live a carnal life, they will find it regardless of what anyone says or does, I personally don't see how the "Repairer" crowd is any different than any other cross section of the population.  Even the unclean spirits in Elaine and Alfred Dueck and John Aaron aren't the end of the world, certainly it would take a good bit of deliverance to clean out a Jezebel and Ahab spirit, but nothing's too difficult for Mashiyach.

Perhaps the next generation will get tired of playing the religious games of their parents, and start doing some serious damage to haSatans little fiefdom?  So now you know why I've posted this, I believe it to be a constructive effort, I expect it to be used in a constructive way.  It is a great shame that this congregation operates under the Name, "Repairer of the Breach", because it is anything but this, they are misrepresenting a Set Apart Title of Y'shua Mashiyach.  I really don't even think they know what this means as a congregation, but they could, they could turn it around.

But if I just walk away and do and say nothing, am I really the bigger for it?  I forgive and bless each one because I have been instructed to do this by Mashiyach, we've all be instructed to act accordingly.  But the fact is that the Body of Mashiyach is called to Sanctify the Name of YHWH, all who claim to be His children.  That means that we hold the Name of YHWH higher than our own names and I don't have a shred of doubt that YHWH will sanctify His own Name, even the title of Repairer of the Breach one day and it will be for better or for worse, but nothing ever seems to stay the same.

YHWH be with you,

Shalom U'Vrachot,

Baruch Ben Daniel

ps Brian you won the 2006 coward of the year award in my books, thankfully there were no winners in 2007 and it doesn't look like 2008 will find another leader who is so self interested as thee... that's good news....
